Black Chalcedony with Large Hexagonal Calcite Crystal

This specimen is a statement piece for sure! The black sphalerite base is covered in tiny druzy, giving the whole piece a glittering, deep charcoal color. It is covered in dozens of hexagonal calcite crystals that are highly fluorescent. Several of these are larger in size with excellent clarity and shape. But the true feature is one impressive calcite crystal that measures 1.45 in. x 1.15 in. A truly exceptional piece that would be the star of any display.
