Large Aragonite Cluster with Phosphorescence

This large, natural aragonite cluster is an impressive mineral specimen for collectors. It features clusters of aragonite forming vertically from the matrix with a variety of crystal appearances on the surface. Some of the aragonite has a matte appearance and others sparkle with glittering crystallization. It also has a subtle, pale yellow fluorescence under UV light. It also displays the phenomenon of fluorescence, where it will glow green for a brief period of time after removing the uv light. A decent piece for those who prefer the larger cabinet or museum sized pieces in their mineral or crystal collection.
