Spirit Quartz / Cactus Quartz

These crystals are known for their distinct formation and are often referred to as Cactus Quartz. The main feature is a single quartz crystal, surrounded by smaller growths that point upwards. Their stunning amethyst color can range from a soft lilac with hints of pink to a deep lavender. 

This particular piece features a pair of amethyst points with intact crystal tips. The main color of the body of the piece is a pale lilac, but has some pink tones in the sunlight. The tips and edges of the many crystals are lined with a deeper violet color.

It comes from the Boekenhoutshoek area, Nkangala District, South Africa.

It measures approximately 1.50 in. x 1.38 in. x .85 in. and weighs 10oz.
